Description
Experience the thrill of both hiking and rock scrambling in the world-famous Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This immersive half-day adventure departs directly from Las Vegas and combines the best of desert exploration, scenic trails, hands-on sandstone scrambling, and panoramic views of Red Rock and the Las Vegas valley.
Led by expert local guides, you’ll get a close-up look at the Mojave Desert’s striking geology and colorful sandstone formations while learning about the area’s natural and cultural history. We provide hydration, Gatorade-type drinks, and classic trail snacks plus time to visit the Red Rock Visitor Center, weather and schedule permitting.
Itinerary & Highlights
- Pick-up & Transit (approx. 30–45 min)
We’ll depart from Las Vegas in a comfortable vehicle and head toward Red Rock. Along the way, your guide will introduce the geology, ecology, and history of the Mojave Desert and the Red Rock area that will be discussed during your tour. - Arrival & Visitor Center (time permitting)
Upon arrival, we’ll stop first at the Red Rock Visitor Center, where you can browse exhibits on desert flora/fauna, geology, and cultural history. This is also considered a restroom break instead of having to use traditional trail options. - Hike Options
Depending on group fitness, interest, and timing, our guide will select the best trail option for your group. Your guide will aim to balance adventure with enjoyment. - Return / Wrap-up
After finishing the hike, we’ll head back to the visitor center (if not already visited and time permitting) and begin the drive back to Las Vegas.

Safety & Notes
The desert environment can be extreme: bring sun protection, and please do not rely on cell coverage inside the canyon.
Trail selection will depend on group fitness, weather conditions, and time constraints.
Let your guide know your comfort level so we can adapt the hike accordingly.
A signed liability/photography waiver will be required to participate in this tour.
Our team aims to pick all guests up at their hotel (within the strip or downtown corridors) or within a 5-7 minute cab ride.
You will be contacted the day before your hike via email, text or whatsapp to confirm exact pick-up time and location.
Additional Terms:
No child rates. Must be 12 years and older with parental permission.
Customer MUST bring government-issued identification on the trip.
This tour has a 3-person minimum. We will contact you and provide additional options if your tour is in any danger of not meeting the tour minimum.
There is a $35 change or cancellation fee for any changes or cancellations with a minimum of 48 hours notice. This is to pay for the non-refundable name-specific park permits the company must buy for its guests and guides.
Changes or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee. This includes no shows for the complimentary shuttle.
The Company will refund 100% of your payment if the Company cancels for any reason.
